If there's one group of people that see some crazy shenanigans, it has to be flight attendants. For some reason, everyone loses their minds when they step onto a plane. A thread on Reddit asked flight attendants, as well as airline employees and passengers, to share the craziest things they've caught people doing on a flight. Apparently there's a lot more sex going on up there than you'd expect.
    1.
    Sleep Tight
"A friend of mine was a flight attendant who told me that a guy called the airhostess and very politely asked if the pilot could shut off one of the jet engines so his son could sleep peacefully."
    2.
    Crazy People
"On a flight from JFK to Heathrow post 9/11, while the plane was about 4th or 5th in line for takeoff an American lady demanded to be let off the plane. The attendant naturally refused since the doors were closed and they were almost at the runway. The lady went nuts and called 911 from her cellphone and said she was an American citizen being held against her will on a foreign airline and they were about to take off and she was going to be taken to another country. In about 3-4 minutes police and FBI vans surrounded the plane, pulled her out and grounded the flight pending further investigation. In the end she was just a nutjob who ruined everyone's flight."
    3.
    The Blanket
"Had a couple "sleeping" near the back of the plane on an empty flight - her head was under a thin airplane blanket on his lap, obviously giving him some special oral attention while he concentrated on squeezing his eyes shut and not making noise. I did a double take as I walked past them; it was just so obvious what was happening. I told my coworker who went to take a look for herself and agreed. We decided to do a water service to see if it was still going on, but they had stopped by the time we got there. At the end of the flight, the girl tried to give the blanket back to my co-worker, who just said, "oh, you keep it, you might need it on your next flight."
    4.
    The Liquid
"My dad was on a flight to go somewhere for vacation. Everyone was well into the flight when this guy in a nice suit had this liquid pouring onto him from the overhead cabin. The guy screamed out, "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" and without missing a beat this little old lady with a thick southern accent says, "Das my Shrimp!" (Mind you this was pre 9/11, so she was somehow able to get frozen shrimp on a plane.) Rough day for that guy..."
    5.
    Congrats!
"My mom has been a flight attendant for 33 years now. They always know when people try to have sex in the lavs; if they're not extremely busy, two or three will try to assemble outside and clap when the people come out."
    6.
    Nicki Minaj
"One of my best friends was a flight attendant for a few years so I've heard some insane stories from her. My absolute favorite was when she had to wait on Nicki Minaj in first class on a flight. She said Nicki was pretty much the worst passenger she'd ever waited on. She was rude, demanding, and kept doing weird shit like order a vodka cranberry and when the flight attendant would deliver it she'd take one sip, hand it back to her and ask for another. My friend told me that her whole posse kept doing this until they had gone through almost all the mini bottles. As a bartender, that story pissed me off to no end."
    7.
    This Is About Me
"I was on a flight that had to be diverted because a man began having a heart attack. The passenger across the aisle yelled at the flight attendant because she was going to miss her connecting flight because of the delay – so I laid into her. Insensitive bitch."
    8.
    Family Vacation
"My mother in law was a stewardess and told us the craziest thing she saw was a guy on the plane, with his wife and kids, getting a beej from another guy in the bathroom."
    9.
    I Love Lucy
"My uncle worked for a major airline and was told a famous story about how a flight attendant could not speak to Lucille Ball and had to ask her assistant what Ball would want to drink. Another story was that a flight attendant accidentally dropped a glass of water on Ball. Lucille kept saying it was ok, and asked for another glass of water. When the attendant came back with it, Lucille threw it right back saying "How do you like it?"
    10.
    Don't Threaten The Crew
"It was a bad weather day into St. Louis. We got struck by lightning. It happens. We get priority to land because we can't be sure what damage occurred. Once on the ground, I do a walk around and see the damage. The outbound flight, the last of the night, is cancelled because the plane is down for what I would think are obvious reasons.
"We didn't have a hotel for the night, as we were supposed to take the plane back out. So while waiting for news from crew scheduling, we were supporting the gate agent. Man, people were PISSED. Insisting we go. I point out the window at the melted wingtip and large scorch mark on the aircraft. One lady got in my face and screamed, "Do you think I give a fuck about your paint job?! Get me on that plane and get me home, or you'll be sorry!"
"Needless to say, that lady didn't go on any flight with us the next day. Don't fuck with gate agents (or crews that are nice to them)."
    11.
    Free Drinks?
"Last month I was on a Vegas-to-Boston flight when some poor guy passed away on the plane. We diverted to NY and emergency personal carried him off the plane and his widow was also escorted from the plane. Just before we took off to resume our flight, some jackass in the front row looks at the clearly stricken flight attendant and asks if we now all get free drinks."
    12.
    Yoga Time
"I get that on long flights you want to get up and stretch your legs a little, no problem. But on a 45 minute express flight is it really necessary to get up and start doing yoga in the back galley? This actually happened and I couldn't believe it. Get out of my way so I can finish serving drinks to the other 70 passengers on board."
    13.
    Flight Attendant Misery
"Pilot here. Girlfriend is a flight attendant. Personally, I haven't seen too much go wrong. Just the usual tantrums over bags and missed connections (pro tip: if you book a 30 minute connection, you will miss it). Pilots have the luxury of the locked door, but she is locked in the back with some nasty people sometimes.
"Like the time when a middle aged man screamed at her for a few minutes during a 25 minute flight because she ran out of apple juice.
"Like the time when a man asked for a glass of water during a tarmac delay. After delivering said glass of water, he dumped it on her head.
"Like the time when a man heckled her during the safety demo to the point of needing to return to the gate to escort him from the aircraft.
"Like the many times when a passenger insists that their bag will fit in the overhead, forcing it so hard that it breaks the bin, and requires a 4 hour delay to repair.
"Please, be polite to your flight crews!"
    14.
    Superb Parenting
"I once witnessed a woman lay her toddler on the aisle and proceed to change his diaper. This was during boarding. I was gob smacked."
    15.
    Don't Mess With Flight Attendants
"My mom always tells this crazy story from her many days flying first class.
"Two years ago she was on a plane that had just boarded and was sitting on the tarmac about to pull away from the gate. Sitting next to my mom was a typical business guy ass hat who was on a phone call yelling at someone on the other end. A very nice flight attendant comes over, leans over my mom and says, "Sir, you're going to have to turn the phone off, the cabin doors are closed." (Of course if this was economy class she would have been more forceful, but she gives him a small warning)
"The guy quiets down but he does not get off his phone. At this point the flight attendants are doing the safety protocol speech as the plane backs up and all of the sudden the guy starts yelling again on the phone. Another flight attendant, this time more forceful tells him to turn off the phone. The man turns to her and says, "Fuck you." She gives this 'humph' face and then turns and goes out of sight.
"It is at this point of the story that my mom reminds everyone listening that many pilots are veterans, they are military men and do not take that type of crap from ass hats. My mom hears a door slam open and out of the cockpit comes the pilot. He is so angry you can see the veins on his face. His eyes bulge as he yells in rage, "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HER?!!? This is my aircraft and in case of an emergency I expect every passenger to follow the commands of my air staff. You disrespecting her, disrespects me and puts every person on this plane at risk!"
"The ass hat now being borne down upon by this massive angry ex-soldier cowers, puts away his phone and stammers an apology. Without missing a beat the pilot continues, "You can take your sorry and shove it! You are not going anywhere! It is a federal crime to disobey an order from your air crew and you can tell whoever was so gawd-damn important on the other end of the phone call that fact after you talk to TSA." The pilot goes back into the cockpit, pulls the plane back to the gate. Some uniformed police come in and take the guy off.
"Dead silence on the plane. As my mom always closes the story, "As god is my witness, everyone in unison takes out their phone, waves it in the air and shows that it is clearly in the off position," just like the "tickets" scene from Indiana Jones."

Get ready: Biblical 'Shemitah' begins this week.

Bestselling rabbi warns America of God's 7-year judgments.

Mark your calendars and hold on to your hats, the next 12 months could be a wild ride for America and the world.

The biblical Feast of Trumpets, also known as the Jewish New Year, begins at sundown on Wednesday, Sept. 24, which also marks the appearing of a new moon.

But this New Year on the Hebrew calendar is not just any new year. It is the Sabbath year or “Shemitah” year. Just as the seventh day was laid out by God as a day of rest in the Hebrew Old Testament, every seventh year was designated as a Sabbath year. The word “Shemitah” is most often translated as “the release” or “the remission” and applied to the wiping away of debts as well as the resting of the land.

Messianic Jewish Rabbi Jonathan Cahn believes he has unlocked the mystery of the Shemitah’s meaning as it applies to modern-day nations. In his new book, “The “Mystery of the Shemitah,” he explains that nearly every major U.S. stock market collapse since the early 1900s has occurred during a Shemitah year, as did the terrorist attack and stock market collapse of September 2001 and the financial collapse of 2008. The next Shemitah year begins Wednesday and runs through Sept. 13, 2015.

about a wider collapse of not just stock markets or housing markets but potentially America’s very existence as leader of the free world? If the nation does not pull back from its current course and repent, it could be in for some rough times as this next Shemitah year plays out, according to Cahn.

Why? Because in “The Mystery of the Shemitah” Cahn explains that empires see their fortunes rise and fall in accordance with the Shemitah. Germany, for instance, began its Third Reich with the annexation of Austria in 1938, a Shemitah year, and it ended seven years later when Adolph Hitler committed suicide in April 1945, another Shemitah year. Cahn points out in his book that the Russian, Japanese, Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires also fell in accordance with the Shemitah.

Cahn has also found patterns of special importance in cycles of 28-year periods or four Shemitah years in succession.

In 1945, a Shemitah year, America emerged as the uncontested leader of the free world following the surrender of Germany and Japan in World War II. And 28 years later, in another Shemitah year in 1973, America lost its first war, Vietnam, fell victim to the Arab oil embargo and saw its dollar weaken as a result of President Nixon’s decision to remove it from the gold standard two years earlier.

Spring forward another 28 years, and that brought the attacks on the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, and a historic stock market collapse a few days later, followed by another historic market collapse seven years later in the Shemitah year of 2008.

These are the warning signs or “harbingers,” to which Cahn has been pointing, starting with his first book, “The Harbinger.”

If you haven’t read “The Harbinger” or seen “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” yet, now is the time to catch up on the groundbreaking spiritual detective work of Jonathan Cahn.

Now comes the start of another Shemitah year, 2014-2015, and America still has not responded to the increasing signs of judgment.

For instance, the five greatest economic crashes of the last 40 years – 1973, 1980, 1987, 2001 and 2008 – all occurred in Shemitah years – those God set apart as Sabbath years.

As he pointed out in his earlier book, in 2001 and 2008 they coincided precisely with the exact end of the Shemitah year on the Hebrew calendar day of Elul 29.

Cahn says history shows that as one empire begins its descent, another starts to rise. If America refuses to heed the warnings, repent and turn back to God, he sees possibilities of China becoming the world’s next big financial powerhouse.

“When the mystery manifested in ancient times, it involved the fall of the Babylonian Empire and the rise of Persia,” Cahn told WND. “In modern times, it has involved the fall of European powers and the rise of America. What it would point to now is the fall of the American Empire.”

Another mystery in the book, the Mystery of the Towers, would point to Asia, as in China, as the most immediate replacement of America’s role, at least in the realm of economic power, he said.

“At the same time this doesn’t rule out other powers such as the European Union, etc. In the biggest picture, both ‘The Mystery of the Shemitah’ and ‘The Harbinger’ point to the fall of America’s preeminence among the nations – and this corresponds with end-time prophecy, which leaves a conspicuous absence with regard to America,” Cahn said.

There is also something special about the day of Elul 29 on the Jewish calendar. This is the last day of the Hebrew month of Elul, when all debts were canceled and all credit released, and the nation of Israel’s financial accounts were wiped clean. This is the day that ushers in the month of Tishri and the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah.

The first shaking was 9/11 and a stock market crash on Sept. 17, or Elul 29 on the Jewish calendar. The second was in 2008, seven years later to the day. At end of September 2008, the greatest stock market crash in U.S. history, again on Elul 29, touched off the Great Recession.

So the two worst stock market crashes in U.S. history both happened on Elul 29 to the day.

“So it means in Israel the orthodox Jews were canceling out their debts symbolically, while God is cancelling out the debts, there’s this giant Shemitah, across the world, both times, to the day,” Cahn explained in a TV interview with Gary Stearman on “Prophecy in the News” last year.

On Rosh Hashanah it is customary to blow the trumpets once each day as a type of a warning, and the sound of the trumpet is a symbol of alarm and judgment throughout Scripture.

“Yes Elul is all about warning, it’s about trumpets, it’s about getting right with God and it’s about repentance,” Cahn said. “Sundown comes and then comes the Feast of Trumpets, the blowing of the trumpet. The day of the judgment, or the day of the warning. All these converging on this exact precise day.”

America’s days of playing the role of the world’s policeman and of setting the tone as its financial leader all hang in the balance.

That’s because the nation was dedicated to God on April 30, 1789, the day George Washington was sworn in as its first president, according to Cahn’s earlier research for the book, “The Harbinger.”

America’s first day as a nation with a full government in place was April 30, 1789. After Washington was sworn in, he left to pray at the little stone chapel in New York on America’s very first day as a nation. That chapel was at the edge of what is today Ground Zero in New York City, America’s first capital.

Because America was forged as a nation under God, it was blessed beyond that of any other nation to date in terms of its economy, military and international influence.

While the agricultural concept of Shemitah may no longer be in place, Cahn believes the blessing and judgment aspects of Shemitah still apply, especially for nations founded by people professing Judeo-Christian values. He presents compelling evidence throughout American history that when the nation left its godly moorings, the hand of God’s protection also seemed to leave.

America’s future as a world leader also has huge implications for modern-day Israel.

“America is still Israel’s strongest ally. America is also the home of the largest Jewish population on earth outside Israel,” Cahn told WND. “A great shaking here would affect Israel. It could even play a part in leading American Jews to return (to Israel).”

But Cahn is careful not to predict what will happen in the coming Shemitah year.

“The phenomenon may manifest in one cycle and not in another and then again in the next,” he writes. “And the focus of the message is not date-setting but the call of God to repentance and return. At the same time, something of significance could take place, and it is wise to note the times.”

Evidence isn’t something you make up out of thin air. You dig it up. If you’re fortunate, you find crucial evidence in statements of the very people who are pretending to tell the truth. That’s the jackpot.

I’ve written several articles debunking the “science” behind psychiatry. As you might guess, this is not a popular approach with the gatekeepers of our culture.

The gatekeepers want psychiatry to be thought of as a science, and since it isn’t, they exercise their only option: they lie. And then they lie again. It’s the time-honored strategy of all propaganda. Keep repeating the falsehood until people believe it and accept it.

Evidence doesn’t work that way. You don’t need to keep repeating it in order to make it real. If you’re digging in the sand to uncover clues to a lost city, you don’t need to re-dig that area of sand hiding the temple and the road and the statues. You do it once and that’s enough. You say, “See? Here’s the city.”

But culturally speaking, you do need to keep flashing photos of the lost city, because people have been trained to think there was no civilization way back when. You have to separate people from the false thinking and indoctrination.

So now I’m flashing evidence I’ve uncovered before. It’s a statement made by a prominent psychiatrist on an episode of PBS’ Frontline series. The episode was: “Does ADHD Exist?”

    Here it is.

PBS FRONTLINE INTERVIEWER: Skeptics say that there’s no biological marker—that it [ADHD] is the one condition out there where there is no blood test, and that no one knows what causes it.

BARKLEY (Dr. Russell Barkley, professor of psychiatry and neurology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center): That’s tremendously naïve, and it shows a great deal of illiteracy about science and about the mental health professions. A disorder doesn’t have to have a blood test to be valid. If that were the case, all mental disorders would be invalid…There is no lab test for any mental disorder right now in our science. That doesn’t make them invalid. [Emphasis added]

Dr. Barkley blows the whistle on his own profession, and then he turns around and makes it even better by claiming the incontrovertible evidence isn’t evidence at all. He claims we’re all illiterate when it comes to fathoming what science is all about.

So let’s take Dr. Barkley to school. Medical science, and disease-research in particular, rests on the notion that you can make a diagnosis backed up by lab tests. If you can’t produce lab tests, you’re spinning fantasies.

These fantasies might be hopeful, they might be “educated guesses,” they might be launched from traditional centers of learning, they might be backed up by billions of dollars of grant money…but they’re still fantasies.

If I said the moon was made of green cheese, even if I were a Harvard professor, sooner or later someone would ask me to produce a sample of moon rock that was tested for “cheese qualities.” I might begin to feel nervous, I might want to tap dance around the issue, but I would have to submit the rock to a lab.

In the case of psychiatry, the DSM, which is the bible of the American Psychiatric Association, currently lists 297 official mental disorders. They are named, labeled, and described. Dr. Barkley admits there is no lab test for any of those 297 disorders.

Yes, there is a lot of chatter about “chemical imbalances in the brain,” but there is no test.

Dr. Barkley employs a version of logical analysis in his statement to the PBS Frontline interviewer. Barkley is essentially saying, “There is no lab test for any mental disorder. But if a test were the standard of proof, we wouldn’t have science at all, and that would mean our whole profession rests on nothing—and that is absurd, so therefore a test doesn’t matter.”

That logic is no logic at all. Barkley is proving the case against himself. He just doesn’t want to admit it.

If psychiatry were nothing more than an intellectual game in a vacuum, it wouldn’t matter. But each diagnosis is followed by powerful and dangerous drugs, and people take those drugs.

In a business sense (and psychiatry is a business), the DSM is really a book that tells psychiatrists what they can bill insurance companies for. That’s the essence of the book. There are 297 ways a psychiatrist can get paid. No insurance company is going to step up to the plate and declare psychiatry a rank fraud. Insurance companies don’t operate that way. They are in partnership with psychiatry. Insurance companies employ actuaries to figure out how claims can be paid and still leave nice profit margins. That’s the game.

Think of all the studies that have been done to show that street drugs harm people. Has that stopped traffickers from selling heroin and cocaine? Well, the analogy has merit. Do you expect psychiatrists and insurance companies to hold a press conference and admit their whole operation is a top-to-bottom fraud with devastating health consequences?

At the root of this ongoing RICO crime is the issue of personal freedom. Do people have the absolute right to refuse psychiatric medication? If, for example, in the United States, Obamacare is not repealed, there are going to be many, many more diagnoses of mental disorders. Eventually, accepting these diagnoses, and the drug prescriptions that follow, is going to be made a condition of membership in the national insurance plan. That’s why drug companies and insurance companies are on board. They are looking forward to more business.

I have made this offer before, and I’m making it again. Let’s have an extensive web debate about the science of psychiatry. Let’s air the whole thing out, with people from both sides at the podium. I’m not talking about sound bites. I want a thorough exposition. Let’s see who makes more sense.

Here is what I believe would be exposed. People would finally understand that committees of psychiatrists, in their deliberations, take menus of human behavior, and then they group behaviors into clusters. For each cluster, they determine there is a disorder. They sit in a room and argue all this out, and come up with labels and symptoms—and in this thoroughly unscientific fashion, they recycle human suffering and emotional pain and confusion and problems into neat categories. They provide no tests. They simply make the rules, and they expect obedience, because they are the self-appointed authorities.

This is a staggering fact. It may be hard to acknowledge the depth and breadth of the fraud, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fraud. It only means people have been indoctrinated to salute “the experts.”

It also means other explanations are going to be needed for what we say are “crazy behaviors.” But that need doesn’t imply that the experts are right. It simply indicates we have been following an unproven path and we need to shift gears.

It’s always easier to give in to the experts. But Easier is not a scientific standard that should win our approval. Easier is what we opt for when we prefer a manufactured rigged consensus.

Independent thinking is a whole different animal. It applies and it challenges us across the board of our entire civilization. Should we believe what we are told without reflection? Should we buy the most popular items for sale? Or should we explore what lies beyond the comfort zone?

Close to 50 years ago, psychiatry was dying out as a profession. Fewer and fewer people wanted to see a psychiatrist for help, for talk therapy. All sorts of new therapies were popping up. The competition was leaving medical psychiatry in the dust.

As Dr. Peter Breggin describes it in his landmark book, Toxic Psychiatry, a deal was struck. Drug companies would bankroll psychiatry and rescue it. These companies would pour money into professional conferences, journals, research. In return, they wanted “science” that would promote mental disease as a biological fact, a gateway into the drugs. Everyone would win—except the patient.

So the studies were rolled out, and the list of mental disorders expanded. The FDA was in on the deal as well, as evidenced by their drug approvals, in the face of the obvious damage these drugs were doing.

So this is how we arrived at where we are. This was the plan, and it worked.

Under the cover story, it was all fraud all the time. Without much of a stretch, you could say psychiatry has been the most inept and widespread profiling operation in the history of the human race. Its goal has been to bring humans everywhere into its system. It hardly matters which label a person is painted with, as long as it adds up to a diagnosis and a prescription of drugs.

Fake science comes in many forms. Psychiatry is one of the most egregious forms ever invented.

    The Devil Knows the Bible

    (By Chris DeWeese).

There are only three places a doctrine can come from: God, man, or Satan. It’s really easy to forget the last one.

Then the devil *took Him into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and *said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, ‘HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU'; and ‘ON their HANDS THEY WILL BEAR YOU UP, SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.’ Matt 4:5-6 (NASB)

The scriptures are the key to our salvation. It is no wonder that Satan himself would be an expert on the things contained within the Bible. “Know thy enemy” is a very profound concept and unfortunately works both ways. It should give one pause to see Satan above citing scripture so precisely. It shows much hubris that he actually thought he could deceive the Messiah by twisting scripture. We who are much lower than Yeshua will be attacked by Satan in the same way and will need to trust the Spirit to guide us into all truth.

There’s another reason Satan would know the Bible; he has watched it all unfold. Satan, a created being, has lived since at least the Garden of Eden, with some speculating he and the angels are much older than that. It is likely that Satan knew about the path for mankind’s salvation long before it was written down and passed to us through the Bible. This would explain why Sunday, Christmas, Easter, cross worship, and other false doctrines were started well before Jesus’ earthly ministry and the message going out to the nations. Since those false teachings were well underway under different names when Paul started his missionary journey, it was very easy for them to become blended into the faith once delivered. The Adversary is the most evil and cunning foe ever, and he is apparently very patient.

Since Satan, the author of lies, is working to confuse us and lead us astray, let us take great care in our walk. Recorded history and current events may look like they fulfill prophecies, but history and the media are not inspired sources. Surely many great events of earth’s history were planned by Yahweh in order to bring us to that marvelous day of Yeshua’s return, but we also need to remember that Satan has an active hand in the goings on of the planet as well. One example is how Jesus said He did not come to bring peace but a sword and that families would split over Him. This is true, but just because your family is splitting over religious disputes, that doesn’t prove one side right or wrong. In fact, both sides could be wrong if the family is splitting over two false religions!

Another caution is how desperate Satan will be in the last days. Helplessness leads to despair and, as Satan realizes how futile his efforts have been for the last 6000 years, he will become increasingly brazen. Do you know how helpless you feel right before something bad happens that you can’t prevent? This is how it will be with the Adversary as God’s plan unfolds before his eyes and there is nothing he can do about it. (Of course what is bad for Satan is good for everyone else!) In that state, a raging, helpless Satan is likely to do anything to take as many down with him as possible. So we need to take care and follow the words of the Savior:

Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will  show great  signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the  elect. Behold, I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. Matt 24:23-28 (NASB).
