Lt. Colonel Paul Adams.

Adams was one of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen of World War II. As a war hero he came back to America to face continued racism. He did not let that stop him from becoming one of Lincoln’s first black teachers and having an elementary school named after him in 2008.
